Once again a war of religion, only this time the change of three different rulers or Kings if you will take place, and three different parliaments, and one General Oliver Cromwell.
Oliver Cromwell had created The New Model Army with many successful battles against King Charles. Parliament was now a national army under Roundhead control with Puritan preachers in every unit. Cromwell eventually becomes the undisputed leader of parliament, by 70% of parliament being under Cromwell's control. Cromwell conquered Ireland and Scotland, and ruled as Lord Protector from 1653 until his death in 1658.

You know we see that one man had his hands in everything in order to acheive his desired results. It makes me think of a guy we have here in oregon. He is a politician named Bill Sizemore. It seems like every few years he sponsors a ton of bills for our elections. While these bills are across the board in subject matter the underlying result is a higher tax in the same of more income tax, a sales tax and higher property taxes. Mostly for the benefit of programs the makes up. And every year this happens he looses and suddenly he is all over the news for fraud relating to this mesaure of that measure. He tried very hard to reform oregon by having his hand in everything but the people of oregon have finally wised up to his game...I think that had cromwell lived longer the people of the area may have eventually seen through him having his hand in everything.
